Topus is a certified member of the National Tanning Training Institute
or NTTI to improve the professionalism
and reputation of the indoor tanning industry. Formal training
teaches our salon personnel how to recommend proper exposure times
for each tanner and it also helps them to understand the technical
aspects of indoor tanning.
- Fact #1: Sun exposure could actually help prevent cancer
Evidence: Several studies have shown that Vitamin D, whose only reliable source for humans comes from sunshine, may play a role in retarding or arresting pre-cancerous cells in the body from reproducing. - Fact #2: The benefits of sun exposure far outweigh the risks of sunburn and overexposure.
Evidence: Non-melanoma skin cancer, which may be linked to sunburn and overexposure to ultraviolet light, has an extremely low death rate of 0.3 percent. The following diseases can be subdued by regular exposure to sun:

• Colon Cancers
• Osteoporosis 
Fact #3: People who receive regular exposure have a lower incidence of malignant melanoma than those who don't.

Lobbyists for pharmaceutical firms that sell billions of dollars of sunscreens and anti-sun cosmetics have teamed with dermatologists to promote a misinformed campaign of sun abstinence. - Fact #5: Why don't dermatologists like tanning?
Evidence: The dermatology industry makes most of its money on "vanity visits" from patients. Skin cancer is an important issue to the dermatology industry because it represents the only subject that its lobbyists can promote as critical.

- Our Stimulator Beds have 24-26 lamps and run a slightly higher UVB% to give you a quicker reaction after your tanning session. They run up to 20 minutes.
- Our Gold Beds have 52 body lamps and (4) 400 watt facials. They have a slightly higher UVA% to bronze the outer layer of your skin. These beds run 10 minutes.
- Our ITE Spray HEX is a spray tan system utilizing 30 spray heads completely surrounding your body. It takes only 3 seconds to spray and requires no moving around. Check out the fastest spray tan around at the lowest price.
